6 Things I Love About David

Never let anyone tell you that making marriage work is not a job. It is, and that job takes two people. Last week I may have been an eensy bit harsh on David with my about him taking care of the kids when they were sick. This week I want to make up for it by telling you six things I love about him and how HE makes our marriage work.

In July David and I will have been married 23 years. Not all of those years have been easy. It takes sacrifice, compromise, and forgiveness for a successful marriage. From BOTH of you. Making marriage work does not mean 50/50. It means 100/100, but it is so, so worth it. I know that I’m blessed to be writing my story with David.

  1. You guys are such a sweet couple :-)

  2. That picture is greatness! Is it wrong that I was peering out the back window while you were driving and trying to recognize something? Also- I am impressed you can drive and record.. if I tried that, you would get to see a video of me having an accident. I am just not that good.

    • I think that may be one of my favorite photos of all time. I’m not sure how I did that. I felt like I never looked at the camera at all. It was actually pretty dumb, but I was running out of time.

  4. I can’t watch videos – our connection here is too slow that it takes forever to load one. My husband and I laugh and laugh. I think that’s how we get through everything. Also, he is way more humble than I am. :-)
