Saying Good-bye to 2012

It is almost time to say good-bye to 2012, but before we do here is a review in photos.

glasses for kids

In January Cady got glasses.

Rule no. 1, no bad players! First year of softball.

In February I signed the kids up for ball, and we had our first softball practice.

Of course that means our life was pretty much absorbed by ball. I had no idea how much time it would take when I signed them up.

In April we took the kids to Sea World for Easter.

Birthday boy

And my little buddy turned 4!

First watermelon of the year.

May was all about winding down the school year, finishing ball, and getting ready for summer.

Dance Recital

June was a dance recital, a work trip, and swimming lessons.

I really am the best wife ever.

In July David got a new truck and we took the kids to Schlitterbahn (really huge waterpark).

I'm pretty sure we have enough towels.

August meant it was time for BlogHER!!!! And back to school.

Happy early birthday to me, happy early birthday to me...

In September I got a new car (and realized we had lost our minds!).

Poor drunk kitty. She's not feeling so great after her little operation today.

In October we got a kitty. And she got “fixed”, which explains the drugged eyes.

Christmas Photos 03

In November I realized I can take some pretty great pictures. I’m still kind of reeling about that by the way.

Santa is having a talk with Cady about being nice to her brother and helping around the house.

December has been full of Cady’s birthday, Christmas, and sickness (please Lord, when will my family ever be well?!).

And that’s the year for us. I hope y’all have a great New Year. Any big celebrations planned?

I’m linking with Farewell Stranger.

Are y’all well yet? We had various illnesses over the last couple of weeks too. As did the whole world, it seems.

I’ve majorly slacked in blog reading the last few months and miss your voice. Vowing to get back to regular reading. And looking forward to meeting you at Blissdom!
